Baby Lock App Reviews

If an app is called "Baby Lock" the first thing it should do is lock! That makes sense doesnt it? My daughter hits the home button constantly, so this was mostly useless to me. The name is misleading.

I thought this app would disable the home button, which was the only feature I needed. Nope. Waste of money. Thanks for nothing.

Like the person below me said, the app works great as long as you have the guided access on.. that disables the home button. Settings>General>Accessibility>Scroll to bottom>Find Guided Access>Turn it on and setup 4 digit code. BOOM just fixed the problem. Now when you have the app open (which has loads of cute videos for your little one btw) you just hit the home button 3 times and enable the guided access. That combined with the apps full screen lock = baby not being able to exit the app OR pause the video.

Works great, use Settings > General > Accessibility > Guided Access to lock the Home Button, developer should put this in the instructions.

Just the fact that the home button doesnt lock - its not only a waste of money but a worthless app.

This app is a waste of time. Dont waste your money on this.

Turn on "guided access" in "accessibility mode"!!! This will lock your home button. App works just as described. Locks up your screen until you press a specified pattern to unlock again!

Can I get my money back? And what is up with the video suggestions you cant get rid of?

We use this everyday!! Love this so much! Takes the guesswork out of finding videos! Thankyou. People wrote you can exit by home screen, yes thats true but I dont have to filter what my daughter is watching and she hits the back arrow finds a new video and choices one herself.its great

App has NO SOUND too bad its not like the same as TOUCH LOCK APP on my Samsung Phone

This app doesnt lock the home button. Not baby proof!

If you use the guided access feature on the iPhone you dont need this app. I wasted $2 on this.

I would have paid well over there asking price. I dont have to pick my phone up a million times and fix it for my son. I love him dearly though. This app does exactly what I wanted it to do and more!!! Its so easy to understand. If you have any issues with it then its probably an issue on your phone.

Only works with YouTube. YouTube is grossly out of focus

This app only works on SOME YouTube videos... THATS IT. I found one to show my son and within seconds he closed out of it because this app does nothing to disable to home button. I am so upset!

Love this app except for the fact that it is constantly freezes up on us. And sometimes it will freak out and start playing other video sounds when your in one already. Makes me restart my phone in order for it to work properly.

Pressing the home button gets you out the screen so it half works. Videos freeze and buffer on and off. It does it job but honestly not worth it worth it. Its just okay.

I bought this with the intent to lock existing videos that I have, or videos bought through Apple. Nowhere does this state that this application only works with YouTube videos, completely useless and a misrepresentation by omission. Will be contacting Apple for my money back.

The volume does not work on this app the home button does not work the best thing to do is to enable your guided access found in settings if I would have know this I wouldnt have purchased.
